The Florida Association of Licensed Investigators in cooperation with the Private Investigators Association of America, the South Florida Investigators Association and the North West Florida Investigators Association has created the Joint Association Certification Committee, which present the Florida Certified Investigator Program. Investigative Technique and Statutory Compliance. Florida Certified Investigators elevate the standards for the industry.

In seeking and maintaining the FCI designation the investigator is making a commitment to be among the best in the profession and to continue their education. FCI investigators are making a statement to the public and their clients that they are committed to maintaining high standards for themselves and the industry. FCI investigators have worked hard to achieve experience and reputations for excellence and continue with these efforts through the Continued Education Requirements of the program.
