Q. What is a FCI designation? FLORIDA CERTIFIED INVESTIGATOR (FCI)

The Florida Association of Licensed Investigators in cooperation with the Private Investigators Association of America, the South Florida Investigators Association and the North West Florida Investigators Association has created the Joint Association Certification Committee, which present the Florida Certified Investigator Program. The intent of the certification program is to recognize investigators in Florida who have demonstrated high standards of professionalism, experience and ethics and who are committed to improving themselves and the private investigation industry.

The Mission Statement of the Florida Certified Investigator program is to affirm the professionalism and credibility of the individual Florida Private Investigator, thus helping to protect the public. The program establishes high standards of knowledge in the practice of private investigations. The requirement of continuing education demands instruction in Professional Conduct and Ethics. Investigative Technique and Statutory Compliance. Florida Certified Investigators elevate the standards for the industry.

In seeking and maintaining the FCI designation the investigator is making a commitment to be among the best in the profession and to continue their education. FCI investigators are making a statement to the public and their clients that they are committed to maintaining high standards for themselves and the industry. FCI investigators have worked hard to achieve experience and reputations for excellence and continue with these efforts through the Continued Education Requirements of the program. A. Hazardous Devices School (HDS), Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Alabama. HDS is the only school in the United Stated that trains public safety officials as bomb disposal technicians.
